PuppetFest MidWest is an independent, annual puppetry festival that is presented, organized and financially supported by puppeteers as a gift to other puppeteers. It is an affordable puppet festival, with an emphasis on showing and teaching the traditional skills of good puppet theatre.

The festival is located in Trenton, Missouri. The nearest airport is Kansas City International and there will be shuttle buses at the airport for festival registrants. Once you register, you will be mailed detailed transportation information that will answer all your questions about flying or driving to the festival. We'll also be providing more travel info on the website soon.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION! - North Central Missouri College will no longer provide Shuttle Service. At this time, we are still researching Airport Shuttle Services. We will announce the Shuttle Fee soon. If you are flying into Kansas City Airport, please note that there will be ONLY ONE Festival/Airport Shuttle. This shuttle will leave KCI Airport at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, July 8 to Trenton. Trenton is approx. 80 miles from the Airport. The shuttle takes approx. 2 hours. Please plan your flights accordingly. The Shuttle will leave from Trenton to KCI Airport at 10:30 am on Sunday, July 13. Please schedule your departure for 1:30 pm or later. There are also many rental car agencies at Kansas City Airport.
